Welcome to Jivan Vikas Shikshan Sanstha Risod, the Late Pushpadevi Patil Arts & Science College Risod.Dist-Washim. The Late Pushpadevi Patil Arts & Science College Risod established in 2001 primarily with Arts basis. Later on Science stream was started in 2009.The College is run on granted basis which is permanently affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati and recognized under 2(F) status. The college offers UG programme only such as B.A/B.Sc. The College is situated at rural area for providing the higher education to all students.

The main object of college is to provide an opportunity of higher education for the students of rural area specifically for female students. Our moral vision is to enhance creative as well as critical attitude of the remote area students. It is time of technological development and global competition and it is our interest to make our students competent to face world-wide competition. All faculties are well qualified and make use of their ideas to enhance the personality and quality of students. We have dedicated, enthusiastic teaching faculty. The college has always encouraged to students for participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

The college has NSS unit in which 100 volunteers it carrying out social activities through regular and special camp activities. The college has been accredited in 2017 and received ‘B’ grade with CGPA 2.39. Now college is preparing for second cycle of NAAC accreditation.
